Facilities
Merrist Wood has a wide range of facilities for any type of event or function. Indoor spaces include traditional meeting and function rooms set in Merrist Wood House with stunning views of the estate, and modern rooms in our new Animal Management Centre. All have excellent AV facilities and ample car parking. Our 400-acre estate is also available to hire for weddings, corporate events, festivals etc, along with field parking for up to 2000 cars. We are happy to arrange viewings so you can see our facilities for yourself.

Animal Management Centre
A brand new building housing classrooms and a lecture theatre, that are suitable for a variety of events.
Colebrook Room
This is the main room in Merrist Wood House and comprises of stunning views of the estate.
Hakinson Room
This is the main room in Merrist Wood House and comprises of stunning views of the estate.
Outdoor and Other Areas
The College has a variety of beautiful outdoor fields. Our stunning fields with scenic views can be hired out. We also host and exciting workshops, so take a look to see how to get involved.
Equine Arena
Our Equine Arena is one of the top facilities in the south-east. It is one of the largest of all the colleges in the country, and hosts competitions almost every weekend throughout the year.
Merrist Wood Farm
Our farm is situated on our 400-acre estate and is used primarily as a student resource for Animal Management programmes. We host a variety of animal programs and our farm is just as exciting.
