Hello, I’m Vicky and I’m the supervisor here at Dog Day Care. I have spent most of my career working within a referral veterinary practise alongside completing a degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare here at Merrist Wood College. I’m also qualified as a pet first aider and pet microchipper. At home I have a Border Collie and a Tabby cat who along with my little girl keep me firmly on my toes. When I’m not at Day Care my Husband and I love nothing more than exploring the countryside in our Landrover Defender!
Hi, I’m Katy. I have grown up with animals all my life and currently own 3 dogs, Fleur, Stanley and Smudge along with tortoises, birds, cats and guinea pigs. I have just finished a Foundation degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare at Merrist Wood College and have started the next chapter of my studies by going on to start an Animal Behaviour and welfare BSc (Hons) degree. On Saturdays I volunteer at The Animal Behaviour Centre in Chertsey where I get to assist with puppy training classes! In my spare time you’ll either find me baking or playing and cuddling with my dogs.
Hello everyone, I’m Jenna. I’ve worked here at DDC for over a year now and it’s been great meeting all the wonderful pups and pooches.
I also work as part of the animal keeping team here at Merrist Wood college after having completed my BSc in Animal Behaviour and Welfare. I’m currently working on my Masters Degree in Anthrozoology.
Before coming here I worked at a Kennels and Cattery in Somerset that catered for all types of dogs, including police dogs which taught me a lot about boundaries and routine.
In my spare time I like to unwind with a bit of drawing or even some good old karaoke!
Hello, I have worked at Merrist Wood now for 20 years and am responsible for managing commercial activities here at the college, including Dog Day Care. We decided to set up the Centre 2 years ago to provide day care for dogs belonging to students, staff and the general public. I love working here and being surrounded by nature and animals each day is amazing!
